The following materials have been compiled as safety resources for instructors of CTE programs where tools, chemicals, and/or machines are used which can cause injury to students and staff if used improperly. Examples of such programs include Carpentry, Technology Education, Woods, Robotics, Automotive Technology, Metals, Culinary Arts, Technical Theatre, and Photography. It is required that instructors of these programs maintain documentation of required safety practices which includes:
- Completed Annual Safety Inspection forms
- Student Safety Tests used for all tools and machinery
- Course syllabus with safety stated as a course expectation and requirement.
- MSDS sheets
